Hi, the calm time I experienced prior to boarding at the Caribbean Airlines Terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is one memory that has stuck with me. Despite the packed airport, I managed to find a few moments to relax and take a deep breath. My mind was racing with ideas about moving away from home, attending college in Canada, and acclimating to an entirely new setting. I was anxious, but I was also pleased with myself. I had put in a lot of effort to get here. I was able to gather my thoughts and felt prepared during that calm moment. In retrospect, it was one of the trip's most poignant moments.
